Cody Detwiler ipopularly known as WhitelinDiesel is a famous social media star who has around 1.75 million subscribers on Youtube and most of his videos include testing out cars and trucks, destroying them, and experimenting with them.

Recently he shared on his Instagram that he had been struck by a stray bullet from his own gun. The 22-year-old was testing out a long arm rifle to see if bullets would pierce steel plates on the ground. 

 While this experiment one of his .50 calibre bullet hit a plate at the wrong angle causing it to ricochet and strike his forehead.

The YouTuber shared his picture after his accident which showed the bullet mark on his forehead as well as blood on his face. He captioned it, “Not sure how I’m alive rn…… love you all and thanks for all of you. EDIT: I got hit with a .50 cal bullet ricochet from 4ft away right into my forehead. I’m ok they’re just doing some scans to make sure I don’t have swelling other than the 2” lump on my forehead and the copper jacket under my skin”

In another post the YouTuber wrote, “You look at life a little differently when you pull the trigger of your .50 cal and your head shakes and  starts dripping down past your eyes. I put my hand up and just felt metal sticking out and about passed out. “

He further added that he was thankful that the bullet did not crack his skull with a CT scan. He also mentioned that he will back soon for target practice.

We hope his wound recover quickly and practice shooting safely henceforth.
