Published on

For a month now, Vlog Squad has been in talks over the internet but only for wrong reasons. The member were accused for sexual impropriety and assault. At the center of these allegations has been Dominykas ‘Durte Dom’ Zeglaitis, who had been silent over the controversy.

The allegations surfaced on March 17th, when a woman claimed in an interview with Business Insider that she was sexually assaulted and raped her while being intoxicated by former member of the Vlog Squad, Dominykas Zeglaitis in November 2018.

Since then David has posted two apology videos and has been dormant on all of his social media accounts. But Durte Dom, the person in question kept his silenece all along.

But now, Dom has finally broken his silence regarding the allegations made against him. He shared a long statement on his Instagram story where he first of all “apologizes” to the women affected by the incident.

“It is time for me to address the recent allegations that have come out against me. I want to sincerely apologize directly to the women involved in this incident. I definitely empathize with the pain that everyone has suffered in this matter.”

He also deemed the accusations to be false and everything that occured was consensual. Further mentioned that he has dedicated his time and donated thousands of dollars to women’s rights group.

He later concluded his statement by saying, “it’s high time people demonstrated more respect for one another in every facet of life” before ending his statement.
