Virdas draws an Inspiration from Amol Palekar for his upcoming Netflix series.

VirDas is a popular stand-up comedian, also known for his social messages and opinions on current affairs. Virdas is back again on Netflix with a new web-series title as ‘Hasmukh.’

Hasmukh is an upcoming Netflix web-series where Virdas will be seen playing a lead role in the story. Virdas announces about it on his social media said this is a fictional story of an ambitious young man, who gives you inspiration but also laughs. He also said wild imagination, is the reason behind fictional story and ‘Hasmukh’ is one of them.

Virdas claims that he’s very much inspired from popular Indian Marathi actor Amol Palekar for upcoming series. He said “I have tried to penetrate the innocence of these legendary artists. Also for me, the Beetle Seller was an inspiration whose comic timing I was a fan of.” This series is of a youth of Saharanpur who wants to become the world’s greatest comedian. Although he is a very good writer, but despite this his comic timing is messed up.

HASMUKH is directed by Nikhil Gonsalves and scheduled for release on 17th April on Netflix.
