Twitch star Adin Ross was allegedly arrested by fake cops and had a “Swat team bust his live stream” after a fan reportedly called a SWAT team on him during an IRL stream.
Just a couple of days after he was banned on Twitch for using phone while driving, luckily the twitch star has returned to the platform as the ban seems to have been lifted.
However his celebration was quickly overturned when he got arrested in what appears to be a footwear store in a mall. Later it turned out the arrest was fake and assumed to be organized by his fans.
Later in a tweet he revealed that the arrest was fake and forgave the person responsible for this incident. “That arrest was fake. I was scared sh*tless,” he said.”One of you guys called fake cops to come and fake arrest me .. y’all weird [as f*ck].”
However some people accused Adin of staging the whole arrest on livestream to gain attention. But Adin denied the accusations and claimed the swatting incident was real.
In a tweet the twitch star Adin Ross wrote, “On my life, I would never call SWAT.” He continued “I didn’t intentionally fake sh*t. Real cops shut down Melrose [and] a few SSB supporters actually got put in handcuffs. That sh*t was real.”
Fortunately enough it had no major consequences as swatting is a serious offense that puts streamers lives on the line and facing jail for people.
