American musician The Weeknd teased his upcoming album on Monday via his social media. The music sensation shared a tweet which revealed the name of the album ‘The Dawn is Coming’ and mentioned that this will be “the album I`ve always wanted to make.”
Teasing a new song on Instagram named “The Dawn.” He shared a snippet of the song alongside a short video which came after a number of cryptic tweets referring to the song countdown.
The song lined up is also believed to be the title track of his upcoming album “The Dawn Is Coming.” The album will most probably be released before his 2022 tour.
The released short video of his music included a heavy trance-like beat and minimal vocals. After assuring fans that the single would not make them wait longer, he revealed the release date to be 8th August.
Along with the announcement The Weeknd shared a video which showed Olympic women athletes on running tracks during their races and celebrations. He also wrote ‘Tokyo Olympics’ in the video as well as caption.
Fans speculated this to be an appreciation and a start of nation with a new dawn on the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020.
