Squid Games Creator Respond To MrBeast Recreation

The creator of the hit Korean drama series on Netflix Squid Game, Hwang Dong-Hyuk has given the creator of the year MrBeast his official approval of his Real life Squid Games recreational video.

The actual series is centred around 456 debt-ridden players who come from different paths of their life each struggling financially. They had been invited to an unknown tournament where they get to opportunity to win ₩45.6 billion in prizes however the losers will get deadly forfeits.

The YouTuber managed to recreate the same by imitating every detail from the series. Leaving viewers wondering how he could pull off such a high production Netflix series recreation.

Jimmy Donaldson earlier revealed that the Squid Game project cost him around $3.5 million in total with $2 million to build and produce and $1.5 million for prizes.

The YouTube video is doing wonders on the video streaming platform managing to garner over 152 million views. MrBeast unveiled his recreational video on the 24th of November. Even though there were some controversies regarding the cost of the video, it still received massive appreciation from the internet.

Recently the creator director of the popular Squid Games Hwang Dong-hyuk was interviewed at the 2021 Gotham Awards and was asked about his through on the YouTuber’s efforts.

“I watched some of it,” the director said while chuckling. “I loved it! It helped me to promote the show, too, so please, I want more people to do it!” Mrbeast is yet to react to the Squid Games creators thought about his recreational video.
