Singer Demi Lovato came out as non-binary, a term which describes people who do not identify with any particular gender and do not conform to gender norms.

The popular singer in their recent series of tweets revealed on Wednesday they identify as nonbinary. Lovato said they picked gender-neutral pronouns as this best represents the fluidity. 

Singer Demi Lovato tweet read,  “Today is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all – I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary and will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward.”

“This has come after a lot of healing & self-reflective work. I’m still learning & coming into myself, & I don’t claim to be an expert or a spokesperson. Sharing this with you now opens another level of vulnerability for me,” Demi added.

They further tweeted that, “I’m doing this for those out there that havent been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones.”

The singer’s fans showed immense love and support for coming out who they actually is and not stayed in the handcuffs of the society. While some people tried to disagree with their decision, however they were silenced by the fans.
