RIP Sushant Singh Rajput: Here are 6 movies of this powerhouse

Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian film and television actor, dancer, television personality. 34-year-old Sushant rose to fame through television serial Pavitra Rishta and then moved on to Bollywood.

Earlier today June 14, 2020, the actor was found dead at his sixth floor apartment in Bandra. Police authorities have confirmed that he has died by suicide. This is a sad moment for whole nation. Sushant was a real talent powerhouse. He achieved great heights in his very young age.

Rajput was born in Patna. His sister is a state-level cricketer. He was devastated after his mother’s death when he was 16 years old. He ranked 7th in DCE Entrance Exam and secured admission in Delhi College of Engineering. Rajput dropped out early of the course to pursue an acting career. The rest of his acting is known to all of us.

Another heartbreaking news for the year 2020. It already has been a tough year with many disasters showing up, a pandemic spreading, and many huge personalities leaving this world. Kobe Bryant, Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor and now Sushant Singh Rajput too left us.

It was the first blockbuster film of Sushant, where he played the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni in his biopic. It surely stands at the best showcase of his career.

Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che was the debut film for Sushant. Sushant’s role as cricket coach and uncompromising friend Ishaan won many hearts. This gave a good start to his career.

3. DETECTIVE BYOMKESH BAKSHY

Sushant played the lead role in Dibakar Banerjee’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. Sushant’s acting in this suspense thriller piece had got a lot of good reviews. Unfortunately, the movie didn’t do well at box office.

4. PK

In this Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster movie, Sushant played an extended cameo. This movie starred Amir Khan as the lead. Sushant played the role of a character named Sarfaraz.

5. KEDARNATH

Recently released Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath starred Sushant as a Muslim porter Mansoor. The character was termed to be underwritten by critics, still Sushant played it very well.

6. CHHICHHORE

Sushant was shown as a Dad telling his own stories of his youth. This film was released last year, it proved the acting skills in him. This was his last Bollywood appearance.
