Rapper Pop Smoke (Bashar Barakah Jackson), 20, was shot during a home Invasion on Wednesday morning at Hollywood Hills, California, confirmed by law enforcement.
As per report from law enforcement, two men broke into home early morning and fired multiple shots wounding Pop smoke. He was then rushed into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he pronounced dead.
Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident and no arrests have been made yet.
Before the incident, Pop revealed the address to a house in a recent social media post which appeared to have been deleted now.
A 20-year-old, Pop Smoke, an American rapper who’s popularly known for singles “Welcome to the Party” and “Dior,” released his first mix tape “Welcome to the Woo” last July. Smoke also collaborated with a popular artist in Music Industry, including Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj.
Pop Smoke’s second mixtape “Meet the Woo 2” released last month and debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.
