Mumbai Police have filed a FIR against actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani for allegedly violating COVID-19 norms, according to the reports.
The actors and rumoured couple Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani went out for a drive in their car. Just hours after the reports of the two stars being booked for violating surfaced the internet, Mumbai Police confirmed the news.
An FIR was filed under IPC section 188 (disobedience of orders promulgated by a public servant) and 34 (common intention) against the actors.
Without revealing the name of actors, the official handle of the Mumbai Police with their witty humour and play of words confirmed the news. The tweet read, “In the ongoing ‘War’ against the virus, going ‘Malang’ on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors who have been booked under sections 188, 34 IPC by Bandra PStn.”
Urging all the citizens to respect and follow the COVID-19 norms, the handle adeed “We request all Mumbaikars to avoid unnecessary ‘Heropanti’ which can compromise on safety against #COVID19”
Along with the actors, their driver has also been booked. So far no arrests have been made in the case.
As of now, none of the actors have issued any statement on the incident.
