Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is ready to stump up $1million after being coaxed by Jake Paul ahead of his boxing clash against Tommy Fury.
The YouTube star mocked Tyson for only putting down $100,000 on his brother to beat him and demanded that he up the ante in his latest video jibing the boxing brothers. Tommy is set to face Paul at Madison Square Garden on August 6 in a highly-anticipated bout. Tyson responded to Paul on Twitter by adopting an American accent where he accepted the California resident’s provocation. However, he threw down the gauntlet by insisting he wanted to see the money as he did not believe the 25-year-old had that much cash.
The WBC champion said: “Hey Jakey boy. You want to bet a bigger bet than $100,000? You want a bigger bet, m***********? You want $1million? Let’s do it “I want to see this million dollars in escrow sucker because I don’t think you’ve got a million dollars. I’m not talking about crypto, I’m talking about real US green bags m***********.” The 33-year-old was replying to Paul’s earlier jibes from a previous interview where Fury claimed he would bet $100,000 on his brother to beat his rival in the ring. Including a series of slurs, he tweeted a video captioned: “Tyson Fury wants to bet $100k on his brother… Tyson, grow a pair and let’s make it a better bet.”
He said: “So guys, Tyson Fury, who made $40million last year, is willing to bet $100,000 on his brother? Oh my gosh, we are shaking. Hey Tyson you f****** p****, you made $40million. I know you didn’t make as much as me but let’s up the ante. Let’s bet a million on it Tyson. However much you want to bet, let’s do it. Let’s do it. Are you down? How much you want to f****** bet. I am a cold m***********. I bet anyone. Anytime, any place.”
