India lost a very young and talented Gem ‘Sushant Singh Rajput’ yesterday. The 34-year-old actor committed suicide on the morning of June 14, sending shockwaves across the nation. The popular actor was last acted in Bollywood for film “Chhichhore” which was about overcoming failures. It also gave a warm message as suicide not being an option to failure. His last appearance was in the Netflix film “Drive”.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death caused a lot of issues to surface. Issues like nepotism, bullying and favouritism were brought forward. Jiah Khan’s mother uploaded a video revealing Salman Khan’s influence in Jiah Khan’s suicide case which involved Suraj Pancholi.
Actress Jiah Khan committed suicide in 2013. After this, the Pancholi family faced allegations because Sooraj Pancholi was in a relationship with her in that time period. He was accused of several other crimes by Jiah’s mother Rabiya. He had to spend some time behind the bars, too.
Jiah was found hanging in 2013 at her Mumbai residence. Actor Sooraj Pancholi was booked for abetment of suicide (Section 306 of IPC) in the trial. The CBI conducted its own investigation and upheld the Mumbai police’s original finding that Jiah’s death was “suicidal in nature”.

Rabiya Khan has condoled the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and said the practice of bullying in Bollywood needs to stop. She has asked people to “stand up; fight, protest and stop this toxic behavior in Bollywood.”
She then adds, “Bollywood has to wake up. Bollywood has to completely demolish bullying. And I have to say bullying is also a kind of killing somebody. All what is happening has reminded me of 2015, when I went to meet a CBI officer, who had called me down from London. He had said, ‘Please come, we have found incriminating evidences’. I land up over there, and he says, ‘Oh by the way, Salman Khan called me up, he calls me every day and he says that he has invested a lot of money. Please don’t harass the boy or interrogate him, don’t touch him, so what can we do, madam.’ He looked frustrated and he was annoyed, I took the matter to Delhi to the higher CBI officers, and I complained about it.”
“If this is how you are going to use your money and power to pressurise and sabotage deaths and investigations. Then, I don’t know where are we, as citizens, to go. Who do we go to? I want to say please stand up, fight, protest, and stop this toxic behaviour in Bollywood,” adds Rabiya.
