YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul will be taking on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley on 29 August, 2021.
Initially the fight was scheduled on 28th August, however had to be rescheduled to 29th due to internal reasons.
Paul will enter the ring with a perfect score of 3-0 with three knockouts, however he had been questioned because of his choice of opponents as they were first time boxers.
But with Tyron already known for his knockout power, added with getting trained by the best boxer Floyd Mayweather, this will be a real challenge for Jake Paul.
The venue, time, date and PPV price for the much awaited match are announced finally for the fans. The fight will take place in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The match is marked at 8 p.m ET/5 p.m. PT. Showtime Sports President Stephen Espinoza revealed to MMA fighting that the fight will cost viewers $59.99.
Talking about the price being on the higher side, Espinoza said, “It’s in the ballpark of where similar fights have been. It is at a point below a lot of other higher priced PPVs, but in particular on this one, I think you’ve got a full boxing card of exciting young fighters. That was the key.”
