India’s mythology is vast and varied with amazing mythological stories on great Gods and Godesses. Still, we have rarely seen a game story based on Indian mythology. India was never seen as a developer of games. But times are about to change now, India’s first ever Triple A titled game is all set to launch on 15th October.
Raji: An Ancient Epic is a game that explores aspects of these myths with its own twist, and the Indian studio Nodding Head Games has made a valiant effort to bring Indian mythology to gamers.
Many people outside of India are familiar with Hindu Gods like Shiva, Vishnu, and Hanuman, while the game revolves around the story of Lord Rama, Sita and the demon king Ravana.
The game follows Raji as she tries to rescue her brother Golu from the devilish army of Mahabakasura. After seeing her brother being kidnapped, Raji is blessed by the goddess of war Durga and given her first weapon, the Trishul. As the game advances, Raji is being granted more powerful weapons by Gods as she continues her adventure.
They weapons allow different approaches in the fights as each are then with acknowledged with elemental powers of fire, lightning and ice.
After releasing on Nintendo switch this month, the game received a lot of positive reviews. Next, Raji is all set to be released for PlayStation 4 next month on 15th October 2020.
