Abhay ‘Xhade’ Urkude was presented with a ban on his Valorant ID for using ‘third-party software’ to have an unfair advantage in the game. This pushed his team Paratroops as well the whole Indian Valorant esports scene into a bit of controversy.
Initially he denied all the allegations for using third-party software at the time of getting his ID suspended. As this incident caused a major ruckus in the esports community, Xhade was invited to defend his actions on Mithul “Binks69” Nayak’s YouTube stream.
However things took another turn and Xhade confessed in front of many notable community figures present there. Here the entire recorded conversation from Binks69’s discord server.
His responses did not seem too apologetic as he added that he did not use ‘aim assist, only wall hacks’. Since then he has since deleted his YouTube channel.
Announcing their official stance, Skyesports said, “We at Skyesports are shocked as the fans and supporters of a team which has shown great skills and charisma during the recent esports events in India and it is quite a difficult situation to deal with.”
The statement made it clear that team Paratroops have been banned for 3 months from any and all Skyesports tournaments and leagues. Other players of the roster will not be affected by the bans, and will be allowed to play from other teams if they choose to do so.
