Brazilian Call of Duty: Mobile female pro Ingrid Oliveira Bueno da Silva popularly known byher in-game name ‘Sol’ was  reportedly murdered by another player named Guilherme  Alves Costa known by his in-game name ‘Flashlight.’ Sol was a 19-year-old professional Call of Duty: Mobile female player who played for FBI Esports.

Sol was stabbed to death by knife and was found in the home of Flashlight, who was detained immediately. The crime was committed on 22nd of February and the Guilherme pleaded guilty to committing this heinous crime just 30 minutes after being detained, as reported by ESPN Brazil.

While confessing he told the police that he indeed wanted to commit the murder and also claimed that his ‘sanity is completely fine.’ Flashlight met Sol online and reportedly had written down the plan for the murder in one of his notebook where even the reasons behind this act were mentioned by him. 

After committing the crime Flashlight is claimed to have circulated the images of the body on Whatsapp groups. According to a statement from Gamers Elite Clan, Alves Costa “sent a video in the group of the organization, where he supposedly had just killed a woman, filmed and shared.”

The authorities have registered the case as a homicide.
