Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most popular and skilful footballer of this generation is now announced as the global brand ambassador of Garena’s Free Fire. He will also feature as an in-game character named as Chrono.
The character Chrono will be globally released on 19th of December, but an event that shows his arrival will start tomorrow itself with an official update. Celebrating this big partnership, Garena created a website for Operation Chrono which will have mysterious events and games scheduled for 9th, 12th and 21st of December.
The partnership with former Real Madrid star, who currently plays for Juventus is not just for the sake of adding a new playable character to the game. It will also impact the game universe, according to Garena. More details about the game character will be unveiled through a dedicated Chrono microsite.
Cristiano Ronaldo, on the partnership with Garena Free Fire, said: “It’s a great feeling having not only a character in Free Fire modelled after me, but also having the whole universe within the game changing along with it.
