MMA champion Conor McGregor has teased a new Netflix documentary while also revealing what really happened to his ankle before the horrific injury in the Dustin Poirier fight.
Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh was the first to reveal the news that the notorious had a pre-existing ankle injury which led to his unfortunate loss in UFC 264 event.
Even Conor claimed that he has stress fractures in his leg leading up to the fight and also claimed that UFC could back this claim, but the internet denied believing it and trolled him for just giving excuses. Even Jake Paul and Floyd Mayweather took their share of trolling on McGregor.
However the notorious took to Twitter to show the proof of his ankle injury and along with a new announcement. He posted several pictures of him training with a wrapped ankle, getting treatment in an ice tub.
He captioned the post, “All you pull out merchants wouldn’t last 13 seconds in my world. My 4 part Netflix docuseries coming soon has the entire bts. I’m gonna title it ‘Mad Mac’s: Fury Road’”
This is not the first time he will be featured on Netflix. ‘Conor McGregor: Notorious’ which was released back in 2017 revealed behind the scene footage of McGregor, and his rivalry with Nate Diaz.
Considering the pervious Netflix feature, this 4 part documentary might show the BTS from his comeback and also his fights against Poirier.
The shared photos also revealed that the Irish fighter was training with his ankles taped up.
The former two-weight world champion claimed on Thursday that he could have opted for surgery before the fight but that would have led to the fight being postponed.
In the update video uploaded on Instagram for his fans he revealed that “The leg is better than ever.”
