The news of Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma being blessed with a baby girl spread like a wildfire on the internet. The couple welcomed their first child on 11th January and announced the news via Twitter and assured the fans that both mother and baby are safe.
Suresh Raina who recently announced retirement along with Dhoni congratulated the skipper by tweeting, “Daughters are the biggest blessing to those who are the luckiest! Congratulations @anushkasharma @imVkohli and welcome to the wonderful world of parenting. “
Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi also congratulated the couple saying, “”And It’s a girl! Badhai ho @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma. The arrival will bring so many happy and wonder-filled times ahead for both of you.”
Actcress Genelia Deshmukh tweeted, “Congratulations dear @AnushkaSharma and @imVkohli… Welcome to this mad crazy ride but also truly truly magical.. Warmest Regards.”
Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Virat and Anushka on “the arrival of the little angel” in their lives and wished them to be blessed with good health and love.
The Indian Badminton sensation Saina Nehwal also congratulated the couple. Actress Neha Dhupia, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Dia Mirza and Bipasha Basu also sent out love for the baby.

The cricketer’s brother Vikas Kohli shared a picture of a baby’s feet to welcome the new addition to their family. He captioned the picture, “Happiness overboard …. angel in the house.”
Like brother, Virat’s sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra also shared a heartfelt post for the new parents. She wrote, “So happy to be bua of a beautiful little angel. Congratulations proud parents Virat and Anushka.”
