Netflix is an American media-services provider and production company headquartered in California. Netflix has become one of the most popular OTT media service all over the world. Recently, Netflix has been investing huge to produce Indian based web series.
The Betaal Netflix web series story is about four Indian intelligence officers belonging to the Indian Intelligence Wing (IIW). Who engage before they communicate important information to India.
A remote village experiences a breathless battle, when a two-century-old Betaal, an officer from the British Indian Army, and his battalion of zombie coats are unleashed. The village sees a fierce battle between British Indian Army officer Betaal, his battalion of zombie redcoats, and the Indian police.
The series is written & directed by Patrick Graham and co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan. Graham previously directed the horror miniseries Ghoul for the streaming service which was a success. The show is produced by Shah Rukh’s firm Red Chillies Entertainment.
Betaal is Red Chillies Entertainment’s second Netflix series after the thriller “Bard of Blood,” released last September.

Vineet Kumar Singh makes an appearance as Vikram Sirohi – the second-in-command of the Baaz squad of the Counter-Insurgency Police Department (CIPD). Vineet revealed that all actors of the had to get rigorous physical training. Also they needed to learn how to differentiate between commands, guns and knives.
Meanwhile, Aahana Kumra stars as DC “Ahu” Ahluwalia – the girl with a scar on her face. The actress felt both excited and terrified about wearing a fake scar on her face. It revealed ups and downs in her character’s past.
Also, Suchitra Pillai takes the role of the CIPD leader Commandant Tyagi, Jitendra Joshi as Ajay Mudhalvan. Syna Anand as Saanvi Mudhalvan (Ajay’s daughter), and Manjiri Pupala as a tribal woman Puniya.
With all the hype Beetal is all set to release on 24th May on Netflix.
