The popular battle royale Fortnite is going forward with the collaboration with fashion giant Balenciaga for its latest crossover. This kind of play has been seen earlier from the League of Legends back in 2019 when they launched a line along with Louis Vuitton.
The collaboration series will be called the “Balenciaga Fit Set” which will include four new outfits in addition to various other items such as backpacks, pickaxes, wraps, a glider, and an emote. It will also include free Sprays, a Strange Times Featured Hub, and a live “Fortography” campaign.
The gaming giant said that the skins are inspired by “archival looks from luxury fashion house Balenciaga,” however the collaboration will not only be limited to in-game items. It will also feature a real-life version of the white hoodie with the Fortnite logo which will be selling for $725.
Starting at 8PM ET on Monday, players can unlock the new collaboration, a purse glider, wrap and emote. The real life Fortnite X Balenciaga collection will also hit the Balenciaga stores worldwide and its website on the same day.
