The ACE family’s Austin McBroom is reportedly being sued for $100 million by streaming platform LiveXLive amid the already floating issues of fighters not getting paid.
Recently, on 24th July, McBroom confronted the rumours of his company the Social Gloves Entertainment going bankrupt. In the media interview he stated that the streaming partner LiveXLive was responsible as they have hoarded the funds.
At the time he also confirmed that live gate numbers alone were enough to cover fighters’ pay and revealed that Social Gloves has filed a lawsuit against LiveXLive.
However a new court document shows otherwise. According to the document LiveXLive is allegedly suing Austin McBroom along with hsi family and Simply Greatness Productions which run the Social Gloves for $100 million.
The lawsuit filed by LiveXLive is on the grounds of defamation, breach of contract, and fraud among other things. The streaming platform claims that McBroom and SGP stated the viewership to be 2.2 million paying audience members.
Thus in forms of compensation and relief the company is seeking for “no less than $100 million” in damages.
As of now the YouTube star has not responded to the surfaced documents and claims.
The ACE family was also earlier rumoured of facing eviction from their $7 million home over purposefully missing payment and facing pre-foreclosure. However the star managed to shut down the rumours.
