Keemstar, the host of popular YouTube’s new show DramaAlert channel with nearly 6 million subscribers has recently announced his retirement from the internet today.
Daniel Keem known by his online alias Keemstar is considered as one of the YouTube veteran as he has been on the platform since 2009. With such long time on the video sharing platform, he has been a part of numerous controversies.
The controversial YouTuber took to Twitter to share a video announcing his retirement from YouTube. In the video he also assured his viewers that he’s not trolling and is serious about leaving the platform.
He revealed that his age might be the factor for retirement after a 12-year career on the platform.
“I am retiring,” Keemstar said. “I know I’ve said a million times that I’m never leaving the internet, that I’m never retiring, but I really am.” With this many expressed their disbelief while others were happy about the retirement.
He also stated that he will share a statement on his DramaAlert channel later today which will explain why he’s leaving YouTube and will also reveal what will happen to his channel going forward.
