As we were recently been hearing that Floyd Mayweather will be coming out of retirement and fight YouTuber Logan Paul, well that is soon officially going to happen.
After weeks of speculations and trash-talking, the former boxing world champion, Floyd Mayweather, has announced he will take on Youtuber Logan Paul in a “special exhibition” fight in February 2021.
American star Floyd Mayweather, 43, ended his career being unbeaten for 50 matches, multiple world titles in five weight classes, and an Olympic bronze medal. He last fought in 2017, beating MMA star Conor McGregor in one of the richest bouts in boxing history.
However, Logan Paul has only fought once professionally, against fellow Youtuber KSI in November 2019. Unfortunately, he ended up being on the losing side.
Needless to say, this is unlikely to be a festival of evenly matched athletic prowess.
This bout was rumoured for a long time, but seeing it happening was far from reality because of the wide gap in their achievements in the boxing ring.
Mayweather and Logan both announced the huge clash on the social handles. The bout is scheduled for the 20th of February, 2021. The bout will be streamed as pay-per-view on Fanmio. Early-bird tickets are currently priced at $24.99. The two stars are believed to make tons of money off this fight.
