The father of British fighter Tommy Fury, John Fury said that his undefeated boxer son could move on to fight Logan Paul if he beats YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul on 18th December.
The upcoming fight for the internet star Jake Paul and former Love Island contestant is set to take place in in Miami on December 18, as per the reports. Both the fighters are coming into the fight with an unbeaten streak.
With the earlier record breaking viewership numbers which Jake Paul is amassing, the anticipated match is also expected to pull up same number with revenue going into millions.
Speaking in an interview with Rob Moore, the British fighter’s father said, “If he’s on his game, Tommy, and he’s firing on all four cylinders. Easy night’s work, easy money, the winner goes on to bigger and better things. We’ll get the brother out the game as well, then we’ll start looking at conventional titles for him.”
According to John Fury, if Tommy get past Jake Paul, a fight with Logan will be the next logical step. And after that he would be returning back to ‘conventional’ world of boxing.
The senior Fury finished: “A brother is gonna wanna redeem another brother, isn’t he? When he knocks Jake Paul out, the brother’s gonna wanna take his part ain’t he. But I don’t think so because the hiding Tommy’s gonna give Jake Paul, the other brother won’t be interested either.”
Logan Paul is currently rumoured to fight the legendary boxer Mike Tyson sometime later in 2022.
