Boxer Tommy Fury has admitted rejecting two different offers from Jake Paul for a boxing match as the pair heats up their beef with the war of words. Fury took to his Instagram to confirm the accusations from the YouTuber of turning down the offers.
In the efforts to set up his next bout, Paul took to social media to poke pressure on Fury. Paul raised the bar announcing in an Instagram Story that he is offering the undefeated star seven figures to fight him.
“Tommy Fury has now denied two offers to fight me,” Paul claimed. “This would be the highest payday of his career, the best thing he could possibly do. If he really believes he could beat Jake Paul then why would you not take this?
“‘Timmy,’ this is your last offer: Eight rounds, one million dollars. Eight rounds, one million dollars. That’s four times more than you’ve ever been paid. So either sign the dotted line or just stop f*cking wasting my team and I’s time.”
Responding to the same, Fury took to Instagram to deny Paul’s offer. “I just wanted to come on here and address a few things that Jake Paul has been saying that I have denied two offers to fight him,” Fury stated in a story.
“That is true, as those offers weren’t even worth addressing, and now he has come out and said that he wants to give me a £1million to fight him and I just want to say this.
“To everybody out there, £1million for a fight of this magnitude is not even worth getting out of bed for, this fight is going to gross millions and millions of pounds.
