The ruleset of one of the most awaited boxing matches Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul has now been announced and the rules which were earlier just rumoured seem to have turned out true. No winner for the match is that true?
The already absurd match up of a 50-0 boxing legend set to fight against the 0-1 YouTuber in an even more unusual rules exhibition bout this Sunday in Miami.
With the career records in the favour of Mayweather and physical characteristics like height, weight and reach in the favour of Logan Paul, the fight had to be an exhibition.
This means that it will not be recorded under any of the boxers professional record as an official victory and will be fought with special rules.
Let’s take a look at the rules officially revealed by the spokesperson of Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
The fight will be eight rounds long. Rounds are three minutes as usual. Also there will be no judges for scoring, which translates to no winner will be declared officially.
Both the boxers will have 12-ounce gloves, with no headgear. Knockouts are allowed in the match and the referee can step in to stop the match if needed.
