Google owned streaming service YouTube recently came up with YouTube Works Awards, in partnership with Kantar aim to celebrate the creative minds producing effective and unique campaigns on YouTube.
The Awards received over 450 submissions, judged by our 85 screening and 12 Grand Jury members which was filtered out to 7 winners in 7 different categories for YouTube Works Awards.
The panel of judges included Aditi Shrivasta, co-founder of Pocket Aces, Agnello Dias, creative chairman – Dentsu India, Amer Jaleel, group CCO and chairman – MullenLowe Lintas Group, Anita Nayyar – CCO, Media and communications – Patanjali Ayurved, Harman Dhillion – vice president,Haircare, HUL, Josy Paul – chairman and chief creative officer at BBDO India, Nandini Dias – CEO, Lodestar UM, Narayan Sundararaman, head of marketing – bajaj auto, Priti Murthy, CEO – OMD India, Rajdeepak Das – CCO & CEO – South Asia, Leo Burnett, Ravi Santhanam, chief marketing officer – HDFC Bank anc Sukesh Nayak – CCO, Ogilvy India
One of the categories, Best Collaboration which was awarded to strategic and creative collaboration between Brand & Creator which managed to garner massive buzz & positive brand associations.
The recent huge collaboration between upGrad and Be YouNick to create a light hearted comedy web series that revolved around two lazy employees in an office.
The first season saw the show trending at #1 on YouTube for each episode, 41 per cent uplift in Search and 52 per cent increase in organic app installs during the roll out of the episodes to 27 per cent increase in leads in comparison to traditional channels.
