After his comeback against Roy Jones, Mike Tyson revealed that he wish to return to the boxing ring and this time he want to give it all and not be held back by amateur rules like in last fight.
Recently a news surfaced from the members of Evander Holyfield’s team saying that Mike Tyson has rejected a $25 million guarantee to fight Holyfield on May 29 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
But now the two sides seem to have worked out negotiations about the champions in the ring. Mike said that the fight was still on despite Holyfield’s manager announcing the deal dead.
“We thought this was a done deal but it quickly fell apart when Tyson’s people declined all offers,” Holyfield’s manager, Kris Lawrence, said in a statement Monday. “We were negotiating in good faith all along and it appears we just ended up wasting our time.”
Tyson said in an IG live session with Haute Living, “I just want everybody to know the fight is on with me and Holyfield,”
“Holyfield’s a humble man I know that and he’s a man of God but I’m God’s man. Listen, I’m going to be successful May 29,” he added.
