MGK short for Machine Gun Kelly ahead of the release of his upcoming pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall, sent his fans on a scavenger hunt to piece together the tracklist.
MGK has collaborated with New Jersey pop sensation Halsey on forget me too, Ohio rapper Trippie Redd on all i know, and Texas hip-hop/emo-rap musician Iann Dior on nothing inside.
He announced that Tickets To My Downfall is due out on September 25 and also revealed the album artwotk which showed a casual sketch of a boy free falling by his back.
But later, Machine Gun Kelly announced late Monday evening on 7th September that he is being forced to change his upcoming Tickets To My Downfall album art. He was allegedly plagiarism by the artist who designed it.
MGK shared this news on his Twitter and said that he was unaware that Terry Urban, the artist who created his album art has allegedly copied a photo from another artist. As soon as the rapper came to know of this, he apologized to the original artist, Sen Mitsuji.
Machin Gun Kelly wrote on his twitter “Found out that the album cover I released was essentially copied from a photo we do not own, I didn’t make this design so I apologize to the original artist. I’m in the process of replacing it right now.”
