Popular singer Lil Nas X has promised that he will be returning to his iconic “cowboy era” once his current “gay era” will complete. The pop star is known for his catchy rap skills.
The rapper took to Twitter revealing his plans for the future saying, “after i drop the album i will be finish with my gay era and returning to my cowboy era.”
The “cowboy era” refers to his debut single ‘Old Town Road’, which led to his initial success and became certified 14 times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, the highest certification in the history of the institution.
After the initial success garnered by Old Town Road, Lil Nas dropped the tracks ‘Panini’ and ‘Rodeo’ featuring Cardi B within the same period. These songs featured a cowboy theme throughout the music videos.
Further, his “gay era” included the release of recents hits like ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ and ‘Industry Baby’, which both reached the Billboard Top 10.
Fans shared mixed response as some were happy for Lil Nas X being back in cowboy theme while others were upset of him leaving gay era.
