Rapper Kanye West has reportedly pushed back the release of his upcoming album DONDA to 6th of August from 23rh July which will be held as a massive listening event at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Fans were left questioning as to why the rapper’s latest album ‘Donda’ had not made it to the streaming platforms on the previous defined date.
American social media personality Justin Laboy has recently confirmed through Twitter that Kanye West has moved the release date of his anticipated album to August 6.
The decision was reportedly taken as the rapper wants to give his fans ‘the best possible product’ and not a half baked product. The rapper has also thanked fans for their patience.
The tweet read, “KANYE WEST WILL MOVE THE RELEASE DATE OF DONDA TO AUGUST 6TH. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. HE WANTS TO GIVE HIS FANS THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT WITHOUT RUSHING ANYTHING. HE LOVES YALL WITH ALL OF HIS HEART. GOD BLESS #DONDA #RESPECTFULLY”
The 10th studio album from West is named after his mother, Donda West, who died in 2007 following cosmetic surgery. The latest album marks as his first album since last release Jesus Is Born in 2019.
