John Fury called out Jake Paul on live TV to fight against his son Tommy Fury next month on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder.
Earlier WBC champion Tyson Fury also shared a video calling out the YouTuber to fight his younger brother Tommy who had been unbeaten. The video featured Fury clan along with NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal.
Tommy notched up his unbeaten record to 6-0 on Saturday with a victory over Jordan Grant after four rounds. However his father stole the show with his post-fight callout.
After his win, Tommy said that he has learned more in these four rounds than his other five matches. He ended his talk by mentioning that he strives to get better gradually. “It’s a marathon not a sprint,” he added.
However, his father, John Fury made a furious statement yelling, “Jake Paul, we’ll have you next mate.” He continued “If you think he’s no good, we’ll take Jake Paul next. Tyson’s undercard, July 24, Jake Paul.”
In an interview with BT Sport John stated: “Good on Jake Paul for doing what he’s doing. At the end of the day, good luck to the geezer. Anyone who gets in the ring is a game man.”
