Jake Paul was set to make his return to boxing to face Boxer Tommy Fury. However, that fight fell through after Fury was denied entry into the United States because of a visa-related issue. Paul took to Twitter to call out Fury and announce that he will not be facing him after months of buildup in MMA.
In the video, the American Gangster explored the possible matchups for Paul and stated that Sliva called him and said that he is willing to fight Paul,” You wanna know who I heard from two days ago? This will surprise you, you wanna know who I heard from that will come out and do the match, Wanderlei Silva. I don’t know if this interests you. I’m sharing with you that I heard from Wanderlei two days ago. Wanderlei will come out and box with Jake Paul.” said Sonnen. Moreover, Sonnen also added that even though Silva doesn’t like him, he still reached out knowing that The People’s Champ could spread the word,” I hear from Wanderlei Silva who doesn’t even like me because he knew I could throw his name out there.” Sonnen added.
The Axe Murderer is not the only person looking to fight Paul as former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, also hinted at a possible fight with Paul. Iron Mike appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show and stated that fighting the Ohio-based boxer could be an interesting challenge for him. The Problem child also responded to Tyson posting this on Twitter.
