YouTuber Jake Paul has been taking numerous shots against UFC and the notorious champ Conor McGregor since his win over former NBA player Nate Robinson in November. Now he has rubbed salt into the wound of Mcgregor losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
Paul attended Saturday’s UFC 264 PPV event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and immediately went off on McGregor’s suffering ankle injury which led to the fight being called in the first round due to a doctor’s stoppage.
This was the YouTuber’s second trip to a UFC event after making a name for himself in the boxing industry. He earlier attended UFC 61 where he was confronted by ex-champ and UFC commentator Daniel Cormier. After the match he was also challenged by Usman Kamaru.
Before the match, Jake showed out the chain which appears to be a diamond-encrusted doll of McGregor after he hit the canvas in his rematch with Poirier aUFC 257.
“McGregor, you better win tonight, otherwise, your career is over,” Paul said. “And if you lose, that $50 million bet I gave you won’t be on the table any more. So don’t choke like you normally do. Sleepy McGregor, don’t go night-night. Nyquil McGregor – f*ckin’ b*tch.”
Post McGrefor’s loss, Jake went on to Twitter to share that his initial offer to the MMA champ for $50 million has been reduced to $23. He wrote, “My new offer for Conor McGregor is $23 dollars.”
He also asked Dustin Poirier if he wanted him to ship the $100k diamond chain to him.
