The 16 year old Charli D’Ameilo who was shot to fame with TikTok and had recently secured their own reality show along with the family is now set to achieve greater heights.

While everyone’s year is going terrible, it looks like TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio is wrapping up her year in the best possible way. Forbes magazine has named her as their Social Media Person of the Year.

Nobody could have anticipated Charli to reach such heights last year, but yet here we are as she has proved herself as an unstoppable force again.

When she hit 50 million followers on TikTok earlier this April, she got herself a Gusiness World Record for being the most-followed female on the platform.

But it didn’t stop there; she even achieved the threshold of 100 million followers, making Charli the 1st influencer to reach such a benchmark on that platform.

“No one could better show  the explosion of TikTok than Charli. Eighteen months ago, she was an anonymous Connecticut teenager,” said Abram Brown, Senior Editor at Forbes in an article. “Today, she’s the most-followed person on TikTok, recently surpassing 100 million followers, a threshold few celebrities have crossed on any app,” he added.

As of now, Charli has not made any public comment on her achievement.
