Logan Paul is now all set to fight the undefeated champion Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in an exhibition match. The fight was initially scheduled to be held in February but was delayed due to “complications” dealing with Mayweather as said by Paul.
Mayweather took to his Instagram on Tuesday to announce that the pair will fight on 6th of June at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
“Mayweather Promotions, Fanmio and Showtime Boxing have come together to bring an epic event,” wrote the professional boxer, who has a perfect record of 50-0.
As mentioned by Paul earlier this year, the fight will take place over six three-minute rounds. Floyd Mayweather is restricted to 160 lbs whereas Logan Paul has been restricted to 190 lbs. The undefeated boxer had to sacrifice a 30 lbs gap.
Also the fight will take place one day after the Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. world title fight. The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul matchup was recently rumored to be set for June 5th, but it’s been pushed back to June 6th purportedly to avoid a clash with the Lopez-Kambosos Triller PPV.
