Tech mogul and multi-billionaire CEO Elon Musk appreciated the Indian talents growing up and helping America with their masterminds. Musk gave a shout-out to the newly appointed Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal on Twitter.
Founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey recently stepped down from the position of the company’s CEO and appointed Parag Agrawal – Twitter CTO for more than 4 years as the next CEO.
Before being named as CEO, Agrawal looked over the company’s plans to enter the blockchain and other decentralized technologies marketplace. Even with such a big task on his shoulders, he remained relatively unknown and worked under the curtains of the company.
Being one of the less known CEOs did not stop the internet from acknowledging him based on his skills and talent. Netizens as well as notable figures from congratulated Agrawal for his new position.
CEO of Stripe Patrik Collison tweeted mentioning about how major tech companies are having an Indian CEO, showcasing how America is giving opportunities to immigrants.
“Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, and now Twitter run by CEOs who grew up in India. Wonderful to watch the amazing success of Indians in the technology world and a good reminder of the opportunity America offers to immigrants. (Congrats, @paraga!),” his tweet read.
Elon Musk agreed with the aforementioned tweet writing, “USA benefits greatly from Indian talent!”
