Drake’s latest album “Certified Lover Boy” is breaking records all over the internet. The new release has given Drake the most successful day on Apple Music as well as Spotify for any of the artists this year, as per Chart Data.
Drake is currently holding the top 21 songs spot on Apple Music after his latest release of Certified Lover Boy. The cherry on the top is that CLB is actually 21 tracks long itself, which means that each and every song has outperformed the rest of the competition.
If that was not enough for the rapper, the latest album also managed to break the record of Apple Music’s most-streamed album in 24 hours in the services’ history, revealed by the streaming giant to Billboard.
The sixth full-length studio album was released on 3rd September which was released over a year after it was first announced. However, within a day of its release, not only Apple Music but also on Spotify.
The streaming giant announced that the LP had become its most streamed album in a single day. The Certified Lover Boy album earned more than `53 million streams globally in its first day.
This made it the #1 biggest album debut of all-time. A representative for Spotify confirmed that the record was previously held by Drake himself for his 2018 project Scorpion.
