Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis has made a shocking claim about the recent hyped boxing match between YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul and UFC fighter Tyron Woodley.
Their fight went for a complete duration, with scores 77-75 and 78-74 pronouncing Paul as the winner via split decision. Even though the judges and Paul believed he won the majority of the fight, Woodley disagreed and called for a rematch.
With the win over Woodley Jake moves his unbeaten professional record to 4-0. But Dillon Danis, Bellator MMA fighter who is also a long-time training partner of Conor McGregor thinks something isn’t right with the fight.
He claimed that Woodley was contractually forbidden from knocking out Paul in that bout. “Tyron Woodley, from what I heard, had it in the contract that he was not allowed to knock out Jake Paul,” Danis said on The MMA Hour podcast on YouTube.
“I swear on anything, that’s why when Jake Paul was against the ropes, Tyron Woodley didn’t hit him.
“I’m telling you right now. It was in his contract, where it said you’re not allowed to knock him out.”
Danis and Paul were taking shots earlier with the YouTuber even offering the fighter a boxing match. However he did not accept it.
