David Dobrik is a digital star and TV personality known for making viral content on YouTube. He established his huge fanbase initially through Vine. His channel was the fifth-most viewed creator channel on YouTube in 2019, with 2.4 billion views that year. He currently has 18.4 million subscribers on YouTube.
Over the years we have seen David giving away more than a dozen of cars to family and friends, and capturing their epic for his YouTube channel. The first epic giveaway was in 2016, when he gave his then girlfriend and fellow YouTube star Liza Koshy a white Tesla.
Since then, he went on a giveaway spree, with a Mercedes to his mother, a BMW to his dad, a Lamborghini to one of his lucky friend and the most recent Ford Bronco to his assistant.
Now, giving away cars have become his own personal thing and seem like usual stuff for his viewers.
In August, David’s fan asked him to do another giveaway while asking participants to register to vote. At first David was not feeling like it but later he thought this to be the best chance to get the Gen-Z to register to vote.
With this, he posted a picture of him surrounded by five white Tesla Model 3s on Instagram. The post mentioned the terms to win the brand-new cars as just to go and register them on headcount.org for voting.
By the link given by David, HeadCount.org, the New York-based organization was able to count up how many people registered from Dobrik’s Instagram post. The number came out to be nearly 120,000. They termed this as the single largest voting drive in the 16-year history of HeadCount, which has worked with many celebrities, mostly musicians.
