David Dobrik is a huge YouTube personality and had established his fanbase initially through Vine. Later he has grown himself via YouTube as he started his vlogs. His channel was the fifth-most viewed creator channel on YouTube in 2019, with 2.4 billion views in that year. He currently has 18.8 million followers.
With his recent involvement in the Vlog Squad Controversy, where a woman claimed that she was sexually assaulted by former member of the Vlog Squad, Dominykas Zeglaitis in November 2018, Dobirk is rapidly losing subscribers as well as his sponsors.

Along with sponsor his football club, Angel City Football Club, in an internal memo announced that Dobrik was no longer associated with them. “I want to address the current events with one of our owners and the steps we took to ensure we live up to Who We Are,” Julie Uhram, club’s president wrote. “Angel City was built to lead by example, to set higher expectations, and to do the right thing, even when the right thing is hard. To that end, David Dobrik is no longer an owner of Angel City.”
Many brand confirmed Business Insider that they would no longer be associated with Dobrik. “We can confirm that we are no longer working with David Dobrik or any member of the Vlog Squad and do not have any plans to work with them again in the future,” a HelloFresh spokesperson told the Times on Friday.
“We’ve made the decision to end our relationship and cancel all planned activity,” a Dollar Shave Club representative added. EA Sports, which once gave the star a Lamborghini, told Times they are also no longer working with him.
“DoorDash profoundly condemns the behaviour of the Vlog Squad members, and we have terminated our sponsorship of David Dobrik’s podcast Views,” a DoorDash spokesperson told E! News. “This horrific misconduct is incongruous with DoorDash’s values and does not represent the communities we strive to create. Our thoughts are with all those impacted.”
Dollar Shave Club, a longtime sponsor of Dobrik’s podcast Views, told the outlet it has “made the decision to end our relationship and cancel all planned activity.”
Ticketing platform SeatGeek and one of the most frequent sponsor of Dobrik said that “SeatGeek is not currently working with David Dobrik or the Vlog Squad, nor do we have any future planned campaigns.”
Along with these many other brands like Honey, General mills, Audible, HBO Max, Chipotle, Frank’s Red Hot, and his own camera app Dispo had cut ties with the YouTuber.
