Austin McBroom Sued By City Of Beverly Hills For $200K

Published on

YouTuber boxer Austin McBroom had to go through several lawsuits and controversies after his involvement in the Social Gloves event. Now the City of Beverly Hills is suing McBroom after he held an unsanctioned gathering of ACE Family fans.

The city sued McBroom for the parade of fans for a “YouTube Takeover Parade.” According to the complaint filed on Tuesday in California’s Superior Court, the city is seeking monetary damages of $200,000.

The complaint alleges that the YouTuber has organized, promoted, and attended the unsanctioned parade which was led by him and his wife Catherine through the Rodeo Drive.

For proofs, they posted a flyer on their social media accounts for advertising the event. Also the parade was heavily documents by hundreds of people who participated in the parade.

Numerous media outlets reported that the unsanctioned parade caused Rodeo Drive to shut down between 4:50 pm and 6:19 pm. According to city’s complaint, the organizers failed to acquire a permit to hold a parade within city limits.

The new lawsuit comes amid several other legal cases already on him. As of now, representatives neither for the city nor McBroom respond about the alleged complaint.
