Jake Paul, the famous YouTuber who has become a huge star in the world of Boxing, at least in his own eyes. He has a record of 2-0 as a professional boxer, even though the two opponents he faced were hardly professional themselves; still he has managed to get a buzz about himself.
The YouTuber has seemingly injected himself into the boxing world after his win over former NBA player Nate Robinson as an undercard of Mike Tyson.
Jake Paul revealed that he is leaving behind his “problem-child era” and saying goodbye to his Team 10 mansion in Calabasas in a video posted on Wednesday.
“I’ve lived here since I was 17, and to leave it all behind is not easy,” the YouTuber said, adding, “This house is nostalgic, and this is probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make in my life.”
He revealed the main reason for leaving LA, was to start a new chapter of being a “legitimate pro fighter.
“The main reason is that I am stepping into a new chapter of my life where I am a legitimate pro fighter. And being in Los Angeles, there are so many distractions, so much going on and it doesn’t really allow me to focus on training,” he said.
The luxuries and comforts of living in a $7 million mansion will kill his dream of becoming a world-class boxer. “There’s a saying, ‘Comfortability kills,’ and I have found it so true in every aspect of my life. I have everything here and all the luxuries and comforts. I don’t even spend most of my time here,” Jake added.
Paul didn’t mention where he was moving to, but fans speculate that he might choose to move back to Ohio, where he and his brother Logan Paul are originally from.
