One of Tekashi 69’s then fellow gang members in the Nine Trey Bloods, who kidnapped Tekashi has just been sentenced to more than couple of decades of prison time.
On Wednesday, Anthony “Harv” Ellison was sentenced in a federal court in New York City, where the judge sentenced him 24 years in prison for racketeering, kidnapping, and assault charges for which he was convicted last October.
With an addition to this, he was also sentenced to five years of supervised release. Ellison’s trial was going for more than a year now. This is where Tekashi came to be known as snitch as he agreed to co-operate with authorities and identifying Ellison as his kidnapper.
In late 2017, they became friends just when Tekashi rocketed to fame. But later money divided the crew and Ellison started beefs with Tekashi. In july 2018, Ellison kidnapped Tekashi at gunpoint at Atlantic Ave. and Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn.
He stole Tekashi’s Cuban Links bracelet, four of his diamond rings, spinning diamond chain, a chain of the Jigsaw character from the movie “Saw, a $95,000 My Little Pony necklace and a presidential Rolex.
Some of the kidnapping incident was captured on camera and was shown as evidence for the jury trial. Tekashi’s then girlfriend was also seen on camera handing over a bag of goods in exchange for Tekashi’s safe return.
