The makers of No Time To Die have released a new teaser video and revealed Rami Malek’s villainous character Safin. This is the first time the Oscar winning actor is playing as a villain in Bond series.
In the teaser video, he is seen describing his character as ‘unsettling’. Though the makers of the film have so far not released many details about the character of Safin, it seems as if he is on a revenge mission that could result in the death of millions of people.
Rami also shared information about his character. He says, “What I really wanted from Safin was to make him unsettling — thinking of himself as being heroic.” “Safin is a formidable adversary. James Bond has to adapt to him,” Malek added, without giving away too much.
No Time To Die will be Daniel Craig’s final outing as the iconic British spy, James Bond. He has played the character since 2006’s Casino Royale in five films.
The movie was originally set to release in April this year but due to the ongoing pandemic it was pushed to November. This movie is the 25th installment in the James Bond series.
The official synopis of the film reads: In No Time to Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
