Cristiano Ronaldo has been reportedly been offered to Barcelona which will lead to us seeing him along with his long rival, Lionel Messi.
The move of offering of former Real Madrid star out of Juventus after two seasons came because his current club wants to get rid of his £28m-per-year salary off their books, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
Balague explained to BBC that the Serie A champions are desperately trying to ship off Ronaldo because of his enormous pay check that they are offering him to everywhere including Barcelona.
Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici, vice president Pavel Nedved and chairman Andrea Agnelli with new boss Andrea Pirlo are going to hald to meeting to decide who will leave out, Ronaldo and Dybala, according to Sportmediaset.
Due to their financial situation, Juventus can reportedly afford to keep one of them at the club for the next season. They desire to bring in at least one striker, a right back and a winger.
Both Ronaldo and Dybala have contracts at the club until the summer of 2022 and Juventus could get between £50m and £90m for either of their stars.
Balague told 5 Live Sport that, “He’s been offered everywhere, including Barcelona. I’m not sure if they can get rid of him easily with the kind of money he earns. Who is going to pay that kind of money?’
Even Barcelona is seen to be financially unstable due to the pandemic. This makes them unable to move huge funds to secure Ronaldo.
Ronaldo and Messi are the top most football players currently, but they have never played for the same team. Fans are rooting them to be seen playing for the same team.
Can we see them play together?
