Popular YouTuber Mr Beast wins Creator of the year at the 10th Annual Streamy Awards back to back in a row, the award function was streamed exclusively on YouTube.
Jimmy Donaldson is better known as MrBeast is a YouTuber, internet personality, a businessman, and a philanthropist from America. He is well-known for his expensive stunts for his YouTube videos. Along with creating youtube videos, he is also the founder of MrBeast Burger and a fundraiser for Arbor Day Foundation and Team Seas.
Donaldson started his YouTube journey in early 2012 at the age of 13. He rose to fame after his ‘counting to 100,000’ video gained 10,000 views in just a few days. Since then he became increasingly popular, with most of his videos getting over 10 million views. MrBeast’s YouTube channel currently has 84.1 million subscribers and over 13 billion views.
The YouTube Streamy Awards, also known as Streamy Awards are held each year to recognize and honour excellence in online video, including writing, directing, acting, producing. The Award ceremony took place in Los Angeles, California.
Mr Beast for the second year in a row grabbed the honour as Creator of the Year. Along with the Creator award, he additionally won Streamys Social Good Awards for his side-channel Beast Philanthropy for nonprofit/NGO. The reason for him winning the award was he opened his own food pantry and #TeamSeas. Also along with Mark Rober’s ocean cleanup-focused sequel to the 2020 eco-restoration fundraiser #TeamTress.
The award function was successfully hosted by Larray and his best friend Isaa from the streets of Los Angeles. Presenters of the award ceremony included Brittany Broski, Captain Disillusion, Charlie D’Amelio, Cydnee Black, DankScole, Philip DeFranco, Quenlin Blackwell, Rhett & Link, Romina Gafur, Tai Verdes, Xavier Woods, and ZHC.
