Amanda Serrano Feels Acknowledged After Signing With Jake Paul

Published on

Unified welterweight champion Amanda Serrano was recently signed with Jake Paul’s boxing promotions and she believes it was the best professional move she has ever made.

The female boxer talked about the perks she felt after being signed to Paul’s promotion company in a recent interview with TMZ Sports. She revealed the increase in recognition and acknowledgement she has received since the signing.

The seven division boxing champion Amanda Serrano was quoted saying, “Definitely, one hundred percent [it has got me the spotlight that I deserve]. It’s about time that we get that recognition, I’ve been training and working so hard and all the stuff that I’ve accomplished with boxing, I’ve never really been acknowledged and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made”

However, she also stated that all the increased popularity towards her has translated into increased pressure as she has now to work harder to live up to her name.

“It’s just that there’s a little more pressure now because I got to work a little bit harder now because I’m under a big platform now under Jake Paul, so I want to continue to prove that I am the best.”

Serrano is all set for her first test under the MVP banner in a fight against Miriam Gutiérrez on the 18th of December. The same card for the fight that features Jake and Tommy Fury.

Serrano made one thing clear that will be putting a tough show to prove her worth in the MVP. “I’m gonna win no matter what but if it’s in the first — I have 10 rounds to do it, but I’m definitely going in there for a knockout.”
