Internet sensation Addison Rae has signed a multi-picture film deal with the streaming giant Netflix. Rae recently made her acting debut with the lead role in Netflix’s “He’s All That.” The movie was a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 high school rom-com “She’s All That” which did very well on the charts.
Talking about the new deal Addison said, “Getting the opportunity to work with Netflix was such a pinch me moment and now to be able to continue the relationship is beyond my wildest dreams.”
“I’m thrilled to be able to collaborate with this incredible team and am excited to develop projects while continuing to strengthen my skills as an actress,” the TikTok star added.
The remake movie has managed to claim the number 1 position in at least 62 countries on Netflix including the US and the UK. It is on the top spot globally on the streaming giant as of 1st September.
Addison Rae’s film director Naketha Mattocks said, “Addison’s Rae’s charm and promise is undeniable as evidenced by ‘He’s All That’ and her already passionate fan base. We’re thrilled to be part of this next phase of her burgeoning career as an actress.”
